The image was inspired by the artists' first full length album, Creatures, providing a familiar image to long-time fans. The design was carved into a linoleum block, stamped numerous times onto canvas, then the most interesting variations were sewn to beanies in a range of colors.
Hats are often more difficult to sell at concert merchandise booths, but the results speak for themselves. After one run, the band nearly sold out of their first batch.
